Selected References and Resources (regularly updated)

The list below comprises both books and other resources which have been consulted in the development of this website. Following the list of books are a number of other articles and resources which may be useful for those conducting research on plagiarism, authorship, originality, falsification, fabrication and related subjects. While working on my thesis on The Dynamics of Derivative Writing (2000) at the University of Edinburgh, I found most of these works to be quite helpful in analyzing plagiarism and related phenomena. Many works listed here were published after I completed my studies at Edinburgh, and I have found these to be useful as well in this post-doctoral Famous Plagiarists Research Project.

Thank you for your interest in this site, and good luck with your own research and studies relating to plagiarology!

Dr. J.P. Lesko
